Iron sulphate
crenox produces iron sulphate as heptahydrate (FeSO4 • 7 H2O) or monohydrate (FeSO4 • H2O).
The heptahydrate, also called Copperas, is used in municipal and industrial waste water purification, water treatment, in the fertiliser and feed industry, the cement and pigment industry as well as for land reclamation.
The monohydrate is produced as so-called "filter salt" in the acid recycling plant and contains about 20 percent sulphuric acid together with iron sulphate. It is used as a chromate reducer in cement as well as a raw material for fertilizer and sulphuric acid production.
The crenox iron sulphates are exclusively marketed by our cooperation partner "Ferro Duo"
