The crenox manufacturing process is based on the concept of using raw materials to the fullest extent possible. The ores (ilmenite) or ore concentrates (titanium slag) used essentially contain iron oxide alongside the titanium dioxide. The contained titanium dioxide is transformed into a broad product range of titanium dioxide pigments and special products while the contained iron is converted into iron sulphate and technical iron oxide. In addition, crenox supplies sulphuric acid and oleum.
