In production and in the choice of suppliers and partners, environmental protection is one of the paramount guiding principles of crenox GmbH.
We have committed ourselves to compliance with all requirements under law and imposed by the supervisory authorities with regard to emissions, waste water, waste disposal and pollution, for example from dust or noise. As a result, crenox operates the most environmentally friendly sulphate plant for the production of titanium dioxide pigment worldwide. Furthermore, a comprehensive recycling concept ensures that our environmental activities far exceed the official requirements. We have invested in comprehensive, process-integrated procedures for recycling by-products and for the use of waste heat.
Observance of laws and guidelines for environmental protection and compliance with requirements under licenses and concessions are checked every three years by external audit. In addition, we carry out an internal company audit each year to ensure the safety of people and the environment.
