Decorative papers / paper laminates
Improving an established brand, our well proven paper laminate grade R-PL-1 has been further developed to crenox R-PL-2. This treated rutile grade has been designed especially for deployment in decorative papers. By using R-PL-2, an improved opacity and a more neutral tint tone can be realized in the application. Paper laminates, too, are coated with this white pigment showing extremely high lightfastness and very good hiding power, before being impregnated with melamine resin for use in decorative laminates or decorative films.
R-PL-2 is also recommended for use in lamination printing inks, where it is advantageous due to its very good dispersibility in aqueous systems and due to its very high lightfastness in contrast to ordinary printing ink pigments.
