Ceramics and special glasses
crenox T-R combines the quality characteristics of purity required in ceramics and very good solubility characteristics during the ceramic melt. Highly pure TiO2 is used in special glasses to increase the refractive index as well as to prevent discolouration of the glass. In addition, the acid resistance of glasses can be increased through the addition of TiO2.
