DeNOx/SCR catalysis
The crenox plant has developed in the last 20 years into one of the leading suppliers of titanium dioxide for the production of catalysts for the reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in power station waste gases. The anatase products crenox A-K-1 and crenox A-DW-1 (tungsten treated anatase) are among the worldwide leading products for DeNOx/SCR catalysis.
crenox 8630, crenox 8631 and crenox A-DW-1 are tungsten treated anatase materials. crenox A-K-1 is used as a pure fine particulate anatase, while crenox 8602 with a specific surface of approx. 350 cm2/g is an ultra fine product. All products are characterised by their low content of contaminants such as iron, sodium and potassium.
The requirement of SCR catalysts for diesel engines in trucks, marine engines and stationary engines is rising. The development of catalysts with high thermal stability without a loss of activity is the greatest challenge here. This task is fulfilled to a high degree by crenox 8640.
crenox types not listed under catalysts may, in individual cases, nevertheless be used successfully for this purpose. Our Technical Sales Service department will be happy to help you find the appropriate crenox type for your application.
